Founder and head coach Carter Padavan is an American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor (WSI), lifeguard with CPR/AED for professional rescuers and First Aid. Carter participated on two competitive swim teams and was also a member of the Southampton Town Junior Lifeguard team for several years. Carter was also a WSI instructor for Brookhaven Town and Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton.

During his free time you will often spot Carter at the beach enjoying his passion for the ocean surfing, skim-boarding and swimming with family and friends.
